Tantrum Theatre is more than productions and more than a training ground for young and emerging artists. It is a hub for high quality arts experiences that inspire and a place to access support on your pathway into the arts industry. All you need to do is become a member.
General Membership
$5.50 per year
Essential for young people participating in our workshop program aged 5-17 years.
Membership with Guts
$27.50 per year
Open to young people aged 15-30 years, essential for 18-30 years workshop participants and cast members of productions. Some membership benefits include:
• Opportunity to audition for performance or be involved in any of our major productions
• Opportunity to create new works with professional local and national artists
• Free tickets to selected productions at the Civic Theatre (a saving of up to $360 per year)
• Opportunities for paid performance and other drama related work
• Access to Tantrum Theatre professional development programs
• Opportunity to have your say about future planning of the company with Tantrum staff and board
Friends of Tantrum Theatre
$27.50 per year
Friends of Tantrum Theatre membership is for community members over 30 years. Some membership benefits include:
• Access to special members only events such launches and opening nights
• Invitations to previews, dress rehearsals, Q & A’s and forums related to Tantrum’s productions and programs
• Special production packages that include photos, reviews and media keeping you informed with Tantrum’s activities
• Access to master classes with professional artists and touring arts companies
• Access to Tantrum Theatre professional development programs
All memberships include monthly e-newsletters with information about upcoming events and opportunities at Tantrum and around Newcastle.

Complete your form and post it, fax it, or drop it directly to us in the Tantrum office. You can pay your membership fee via direct deposit (into our Newcastle Permanent account), via post (with a cheque made payable to ‘Tantrum Theatre’), or in person with a cheque.
