City of Newcastle Drama Awards (CONDAs) 2009

-Newcastle City Council Award for Outstanding Achievement in Newcastle Theatre, Brendan O’Connell

On Thursday the 3rd of December 2009, Tantrum’s artistic director Brendan O’Connell was presented with the Newcastle City Council Award for Outstanding Achievement in Newcastle Theatre at the 31st City of Newcastle Drama Awards (CONDA). Brendan was praised for his enthusiasm, energy and passion for the development of the next generation of Novocastrian artists.

Brendan’s innovative and edgy productions have elevated Tantrum Theatre into a stimulating new stage of growth and we look forward to our involvement in the continued benefits of Brendan’s exceptional talent.
