Tantrum’s after-school drama workshop program is designed to offer young people the opportunity to creatively express themselves through performance in a fun and relaxed environment. Participants will increase their performance skills, develop their confidence, and make new friends along the way. We encourage all young people regardless of experience or ability to participate.

Our workshop tutors are professional artists and arts practitioners. In 2012 the entire 5-17 years ensemble will work towards two major events: Cracker Barrel in Term 2 and Take The Plunge in Term 4. In addition the 15-17 year olds group will work towards a range of other projects including Treasure Hunt.

In February 2012 we are also launching an additional weekly specialised class for 15-17 years olds who wish to extend their theatre and performance skills. Each term will focus on different drama and theatre skills including: devising, script work, the rehearsal process, character development, physical theatre and much more. This class will be particularly useful for HSC students.
