Tantrum Theatre is offering internships for four emerging designers/new media artists as part of the Crack Theatre Festival during This is Not Art.
Interns will be given the opportunity to transform a variety of spaces during the festival under the direction of established designers Eugyeene Teh and Kat Chan.
Interns will work as part of a creative team immersed in all aspects of the design process including planning, sourcing material, building and installation.
This internship is also a fantastic chance to establish connections with other emerging artists from Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Wollongong and Newcastle.
The project will begin with a visit to the space in early September and will run until the 4th October 2011. The Crack Theatre Festival runs from the 29th September to the 3rd October 2011.
